Trusting a shop to perform service and modifications for the DL800 is one of the most vital decisions you can make when caring for your Lamborghini Huracan or Audi R8. Our build process is unlike any other, and it shows time and time again.
We are not just parts installers
Anyone can install a part. Most “parts installers” have high failure rates, poorly performing units, and poor reliability. As a result, you are faced with a costly and time-wasting mistake. A good transmission build requires many years of experience and skill that is often not found in today’s market. Here at Heffner Performance, only one person builds your DL800 transmission. That is Jason Heffner himself.
Choosing a builder based on price will cost you
Our product speaks for itself, and our pricing is fair and competitive. The DL800 transmission is expensive. A new stock DL800 is approximately $35,000. Rebuilding and / or modifying a DL800 can cost from $6,300 to over $80,000.
Trusting your shop to provide the very best product available should be an absolute given expectation. Is that happening today in the market? Unfortunately not. As a result of compromise or lack of knowledge, we see more than a handful of clients who come to us with built transmissions that do not work properly, have significant issues, and have catastrophic failures.
We recommend using Heffner Performance as the only shop that works on your DL800 transmission. If your build is at another shop, ask them to use us for transmission work.
Our build options are based on years of extreme testing and use
Our DL800 build options have been created based on the intended use of your Huracan or R8. We will recommend a package that gives owners many years of trouble-free use. While no transmission will last forever based on misuse, abuse, or extreme use, our builds stand the test of time for street, road course, and 1/4-mile drag racing.
